Currently NexysRAG supports PDF documents of any size. You can upload product manuals, FAQs, policy documents, knowledge bases, and more. Support for Word documents (.docx), plain text files, and web page scraping is coming in our next release.

NexysRAG uses Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). This means the AI first searches your uploaded documents for relevant information, then generates an answer based ONLY on what it found. If the answer isn't in your documents, the chatbot honestly says it doesn't know rather than guessing. This ensures every answer is grounded in your actual data.

Absolutely. NexysRAG uses complete tenant isolation — each business's data is stored separately and cannot be accessed by other users. With our self-hosted LLM option, your documents and conversations never leave your infrastructure. No third-party AI service (like OpenAI or Google) ever sees your data.

Yes! You can customize the primary color, chat bubble position (bottom-left or bottom-right), bot avatar, bot name, welcome message, and placeholder text. Pro and Business plans allow you to completely remove NexysRAG branding and use your own logo.
